Please download this form if you would like to request intern applicants.

Please  download this form if you have a part-time job vacancy.

Dear Employer:

The Fall semester is winding down, and soon students will be home for the holidays.  Once they return from winter break, many students will be looking for part-time positions for Spring.  The Student Employment Service (SES) here at SUNY Oneonta is in its 14th year. SES is a FREE service that is offered to area businesses and our students. During the 2008-2009 school year, nearly 300 positions were posted for students.  For those of you that have not had the opportunity to use this service, now is an excellent time to start!

The way the service works is simple. Employers provide the necessary information on the enclosed form and either mail it back using the enclosed envelope, or fax it to us. We will also be glad to take employment information over the phone or by email. The job opening is then posted on NACElink, SUNY Oneonta’s newest online recruitment system. If a student is interested they will contact you directly to apply. When the position is filled, please give our office a call and we will remove the listing. That’s all there is to it! And of course, please feel free to use our service as often as you need to.

If you have any questions regarding this service or if you would like to list vacancies in the future, please do not hesitate to call our office at (607) 436-2534, or you can email us at      career@oneonta.edu. Full-Time positions and internship opportunities are also welcomed.  You may also want to visit our website at:     www.oneonta.edu/development/cdc/ for additional information.  Thank you for supporting SUNY Oneonta students!

Sincerely,

Megan E. Ackley

Student Employment Coordinator
