Main Street Oneonta Annual Gingerbread Contest and Workshops

Get involved in the Annual Gingerbread Competition and Display in Downtown Oneonta with year’s theme of FAVORITE CHILDHOOD BOOK.
If you would like to get tips and recipes for making your own Gingerbread creation, join us on Tuesday, November 10th for a Gingerbread Workshop. These workshops are hosted by the Arts Council at the Wilber Mansion on Ford Avenue in Oneonta with two sessions: 3:30-4:30pm or 5:15 to 6:15pm. The workshops will be conducted by David Kropp, Bakery Manager at the State University of Oneonta.
When your Gingerbread creation is complete, enter it in the contest by dropping it off at NBT Bank on Wall St. on Monday, November 30th from 5-9 pm or Tuesday, December 1st from 10 am-1 pm. Entry fee is $10.
Over $1900 in prizes will be awarded to contest winners. Age groups include Adult, Family (Child and Adult together) and Young Adult (ages 12-17). Pick up an entry form downtown at the follow locations, Artware, Sport Tech, and Joe Ruffino’s.
